She committed her life to loving God and being a humble and dedicated servant. She was many things to many people: a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a friend and so much more. Her life was a legacy.

A loving wife to Bishop Tommy Lee Snell, Sr. (her soul-mate) and devoted mother to Charity, Hope, Faith, Tommy Jr. (T. J.), Joy; also, Tommy & Carl; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was a strong pillar in the community. She served two terms on the Laurens County Board of Education. She worked as an instructor for the mentally retarded for 34 years; she loved the work she did and her clients loved her. She retired November 2006.
Mrs. Snell was diagnosed with Primary Systemic Amyloidosis & Secondary Amyloidosis in March 2007. This diagnosis came during a three-month hospital stay, the first of many in relation to this disease.
